Kyle is still good.  He is going to school - for 3 hours AND he is riding the bus.  He decided - no more Mom taking him.  He wanted to ride the bus.  So he happily gets up and is ready to go by 7:10.  Mom went to school today to talk to the kids - to explain Kyle's surgery and why he misses so much school.   

Kyle went to school again today.  Stayed for 3 hours.  Yea Kyle!!!

This is Kyle's believe it or not.He went to school this morning.  Stayed for 2 hours.  And loved being there.  He got to have the fun of the first day of school.  He is doing well.  Does get tired easily.  But his surgery isn't even a week ago. 

Kyle is feeling pretty good.  He is getting his strength back.  And is very glad to be home. 

And more good news!!!Kyle is home!  Got to leave the hospital this afternoon.  As he says "it's boring".  Hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!

Just came back from seeing Kyle.  He is doing well considering surgery was just 2 days ago.  He's feeling good and wants to go home.   Hopefully soon.  He is having some pain, but certainly to be expected.   How amazing is it that he is doing so well so quickly.  There certainly are angels watching over him. 

Just a quick update.Kyle is moving from intensive care to the oncology unit this afternoon.  Hopefully he'll be in his same room. 

Good news.Kyle is feeling better.  He's becoming much more alert - being weaned off of the powerful narcotics he's been on.  Getting the old Kyle spunk back.  He had a bath this morning and they took his catheter out.  What a relief that was.  He got his passy (speaking valve) back and Dad says he is chattin up a storm.  He got to get out of bed.  His doctor is happy with his progress and is hoping to send him home in a couple of days.  They do feel that they got most of the tumor which is far more than we had hoped for.  So Kyle and all of his family want to thank you for all your continued prayers and support.  That truly is what got them all thru these last few weeks.  And is helping Kyle continue to fight.  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.   

Kyle's had his MRI and is back in his room sleeping.  No results.  Waiting to talk to the doctor. 

Kyle had a good night.  He is having some pain.  Is aware but is very, very sleepy.  He is scheduled to have an MRI this at 3:30 this afternoon for which he will be sedated again.  Right now he really needs to rest so the doctors are asking for no visitors for at least today.  Will update on that as things change.  But all in all the news is still good.
